The
research in the
Laboratory of Theoretical Physics is devoted to fundamental problems of
nonlinear phenomena in Bose-Einstein condensates, nonlinear optics and
condensed matter physics. The main achievements obtained
recently by members of in the LTP are the following:
- The control
of the parameters matter wave soliton by nonlinearity (Feshbach
resonance) management is suggested.
- The
dynamics of the multi-dimensional matter waves in low-dimensional traps
is analyzed.
- The
physical mechnaism of the spectral tunnelling of optical solitons in
fibers is explained.
- The
condition of trapping of gap solitons in non-uniform gratings is
derived.
